Right on the shores of Lake Havasu, the beach offers panoramic views of the lake and mountains beyond. White sand beaches, picnic tables, grills and ramadas make this the perfect site to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Arizona. Leashed pets are welcome. You can also hike along the Mohave Sunset Trail, a short but scenic 1.75 mile walk, as well as through the Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden, home to diverse species of plants and wildlife.

London Bridge Beach is along the famous Bridgewater Channel.  Pet-friendly London Bridge Beach features the Chamber of Commerce Community Stage (available for rent), fully enclosed dog park, basketball courts and sand volleyball courts. Twelve ramadas, two playgrounds, picnic tables, barbecues, designated swim area and grassy expanses; it's a perfect place to spend the day, all within sight of the world-famous London Bridge. Leashed pets are welcome outside the enclosed dog park. Day mooring is available along the channel on a first-come, first-served basis for those who boat in.

Rotary Community Park is Lake Havasu City's largest waterfront public beach and park. It is easily accessible by boat or vehicle. The 40-acre facility includes amenities such as picnic areas, barbecues, six beach volleyball courts, park host locations, ball fields, bocce ball courts, a designated swim area, restrooms, a walking path, exercise stations, and a skate park. Day boaters enjoy the sandy beaches and calm waters thanks to its location inside the 5mph no-wake zone of Thompson Bay, within walking distance of the London Bridge. No pets are allowed anywhere within Rotary Community Park.

As you near the southern end of Lake Havasu, you'll discover a few more favorite spots among Arizona beaches. About a mile south of Cattail Cove are multiple beaches in and around a series of small coves that are also known as good hunting grounds for bass and catfish. Located on the Arizona side of the lake, many of these beaches offer on-site restrooms, picnic tables and trash receptacles. These Arizona beaches are great getaways with lots to offer.

Friendly Island (aka Beaver Island) is the kind of place every boater dreams about. Whether it's for just an hour or several days, Friendly Island offers the shelter and camping conveniences that make boating so much fun. Located in Goose Bay, only a little more than four miles from the London Bridge, Friendly Island has several secluded sandy beaches with ample drop-off for easy boater access. The island is well protected from wind and boat wakes, and has the added comforts of restroom facilities, barbecue stations, ramadas, and trash receptacles.

Located near the southern end of Lake Havasu on the Arizona side, Steamboat Cove is known as one of the lake's largest natural coves and a favorite location of boaters looking for a safe, secure and comfortable environment to enjoy a day or overnight stay. Steamboat Cove offers a generous expanse of sandy beachfront, enhanced with on-land restroom facilities and picnic tables; and is located at the southeastern portion of the cove. Because of its sheltered nature from wind and boat wakes, Steamboat Cove is the ideal place for boaters to toss out their anchors and spend extended time onboard.

Without question, The Sandbar is the most populated boater gathering place on the river. It is located about one-mile north of Blankenship Bend. Its wide expanse of shallow water and soft sand bottom lure hundreds of boats to the "bar" on most spring and summer weekend afternoons. Be prepared to spend the day with plenty of beverages, food and sunscreen. Just kick back and enjoy the Arizona beach party vibe... it will be all around you!
